Today we went swimming at the outdoor pool at the
JCC - a community center right on campus of the hospital/university. We got some guest passes that we wanted to use before they close the pool on Monday!
One thing different about community pools and fountains, etc in SLC is that they require swim diapers and a diaper cover in addition to a swimsuit. We didn't have a diaper cover, and since it's probably the last time we'll use one this year I didn't want to buy one. So this is how poor Rivers ended up:
Notice the look of shame on his face! My friend Shannon let me borrow a diaper cover, but you guessed it, it was her daughters old one :)
Here's what the pool looked like - it had a great little "mushroom" water feature for the kids to splash in. (Those stylish ladies by the edge are my new buddies Shannon and Sara!)

| Rivers loved that the pool had a zero depth entry, so you went in gradually (like the beach) instead of all at once like a regular pool. |
