About four blocks from our house is a great little restaurant called Eggs in the City. We've been by it dozens of times, and finally checked it out today. It was so close we could walk:
It's a converted garage, and we sat outside on the patio. They still have garage doors that open onto the patio, and they were open today in the nice weather.
I got the eggs benedict florentine with avocado. Very yummy
Shay got an omelette with chorizo, ham, avocado, cheddar cheese and onions:
And munchkin got a giant pancake, bacon, and scrambled eggs.
It was a great meal, and super close to both our house and our favorite "truck park". The guy at the front also had an awesome mustache (curled on the sides with wax) so that definitely bumps up the cool factor :)
