Rivers and I had our first playgroup today at Silver Lake Trail near Brighton Ski Resort. It was absolutely gorgeous and at least 15 degrees cooler than the city - my car said 71 degrees when we left at noon! It was a perfect "hike" for toddlers because a lot of it was on a boardwalk and it was not steep at all. A great way to get all the energy out.
There was a wonderful group of kids and Rivers loved running in mud puddles, looking at ducks, throwing rocks in the stream running in mud puddles, watching the fishermen, and did I say running in mud puddles?! Can't wait to go back with Shay!
